Harvey has been working extensively this autumn to network with various Organisations which are working on “Protection of Children” issues and to link them to each other. These include EuroISPA; EAVI; Kids & Media; SaferMedia and EURALVA.

Harvey Thomas is a Licensed Lobbyist, who presents the interests of Christian Communicators to the European Union (EU), on behalf of the Fellowship of European Broadcasters.

Harvey participated in the EAVI Conference in Budapest, Hungary from 6-7 December at their invitation. EAVI is the European Association for Viewers Interests – an Organisation promoting Media Literacy Educational programmes. The Conference was held in association with the Visual World Foundation with the theme of “Media Education and the Citizen.” He interviewed Paolo Celot, Secretary General of EAVI, on the Media Education of European citizens, which is a central focus for EAVI.
